The Barge Beacon is a small device that mounts to your US Inland River Barges and tracks their GPS Location. Good for Hopper Barges, Tank Barges, Deck Barges, etc. Intrinsically Safe model will also be available.

No cell cards, the Barge Beacon communicates via satellite.

Being purpose built for the barge industry the Barge Beacon will be near deckhand proof*

Will have extreme battery life of +5 years and can last longer with a Solar Panel Option.
